Smile design is a set of procedures focused on improving key points that are taken into account in a facial and smile analysis. That is why treatment plans vary from patient to patient and may involve gum trimming, tooth whitening and lens-type dental veneers or laminates in different materials such as resin, ceromer or ceramic. Regardless of the material, the most used technique in my practice is the indirect one, since in my experience it guarantees better aesthetic results over time and less time in consultation for the patient. These laminates are made under the minimally invasive concept, which guarantees that the tooth will not suffer wear and is totally reversible.
